Kajol’s ‘Helicopter Eela’ has been in news since the announcement. The film was all set to hit the theatres on 7th September, however, now the release date of the movie has been shifted to 12th October.
According to the latest reports, the director of the film Pradeep Sarkar was admitted to the hospital after he was diagnosed with Dengue. However, Amitabh Bachchan’s scenes were to be shot on August 14, so he left the hospital to be on location. Producer Ajay Devgn had kept an ambulance on standby on the sets. As he was not in town, Kajol was present where the shoot was going. As soon as it got over, Sarkar was re-admitted to the hospital.
Now, on 24th August, Sarkar was discharged and have been asked to take rest for a week at least.
As Ajay didn’t want to start the post-production work without the director and wanted it to go according to Sarkar, he postponed the release date. He decided to wait so that the director can take his time to be healthy and resume the work.

5/22Will ‘Dabangg 3’ get pushed further due to multiple projects in Salman Khan’s kitty?
Salman Khan is a true star, no questions asked. His last release ‘Race 3’ has fared reasonably well at the box office and the movie has managed to garner more than Rs 150 crores within 2 weeks of its release. Now as per the latest industry buzz because of the under-performance of ‘Race 3’, Salman is becoming a bit choosier while opting for films that he wants to be a part of.
Even his fans were quite disappointed with the way ‘Race 3’ had turned out to be despite all the promotions and the striking trailer. Thus, Salman is now being extra cautious about taking on projects which would not disappoint his ardent fans. While Salman will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ opposite Priyanka Chopra which will start its shoot in August, reports also state that Salman will be soon starting work on the third installment of ‘Dabangg’.
It was reported that ‘Dabangg 3’ will go on floors in September, but the villain is yet to be finalised which would result in further delay of the movie’s schedule. Just yesterday, there were reports floating around about Salman being a part of another interesting project along with Ranveer Singh. Sources revealed that Salman is looking at signing 3 projects which includes a biopic based on the life of an army officer and his heroic deeds which is being made by a top A-class director, whose known to make strong content-oriented movies and a project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
